I got my easel today!

Wooden Italian Easel to be specific*

It's kinda heavy to carry around and takes awhile to set up with all those screws, etc. It looks gorgeous though, for now. Wait until it gets painted on either by accident or total carelessness. It comes with 1 white canvas, 26 paints, 4 brushes, 1 wooden paint palette, and a shoulder strap. It looks expensive =P, but it's only $_ _ !. A lot cheaper than the one I was considering earlier.

*not made/from Italy.

I wish!

I'm always late.
WHY?!
I was planning to go to Art Gallery of Ontario because I am serious about drawing and painting again, and I want to be... umm inspired! So I went to the AGO website only to learn that they are now closed to the public and will reopen sometime in Fall 2008!!!
sira na naman ang plano. Not only that, I went to the public library last week to look for any drawing contests, classes, etc. and *surprise* that day was the deadline!
fun -_-
Well, that's the party pooper part of my blog but this one really made my day. My mom saved me from wasting about $100 for an easel (see previous post). I checked Costco's website and saw a similar Italian, easel, painting set. I'm not sure what brand it is - doesn't really matter to me. The good news is it doesn't only look "polished" but it's more than half of the price that I almost paid for the other easel.

I was looking around Toronto Craigslist for easels and I saw this beautiful Italian easel painting set with a price (discount) tag of $200!
Expensive?
I don't think so!!!
I must have it.
I must!
Now, if you don't think this is a good deal you can go ______ yourself .
